Cookie Notice

Last updated: 22 September 2026

The short version

This site sets no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies. We do not run advertising pixels and we do not track you across other websites.

We do offer analytics, and it is off unless you turn it on. If you decline it, Google Analytics is never loaded: no request is made to Google and no analytics cookie is set. Everything that may be stored on your device is listed in full below.

Everything we store

NameTypePurposeRetention
dt_privacy_choicesLocal storageRecords the privacy choice you made, so you are not asked on every visit. Strictly necessary — it exists only because you were given a choice.Until you clear it
vx_vidFirst-party cookieAn optional functional visitor identifier. It lets us recognise a repeat enquiry from the same person so we do not treat you as a stranger. Only set if you allow it. If you decline, each form submission uses a one-time identifier that is never stored on your device.1 year, or until you decline
_ga, _ga_<ID>First-party cookie (Google Analytics)Distinguishes one visitor from another so we can see which pages are useful. Only set if you turn Analytics on. Decline and the Google Analytics script is never requested at all.2 years, or until you turn Analytics off

That is the complete list. If you decline the functional identifier, nothing is stored on your device except the record of that decision.

What we do not use

We state these explicitly because most cookie notices list them by default, including ours previously. None of the following are present on this site, whatever you choose:

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies of any kind
  • Social media pixels, including Meta/Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Cross-context behavioural advertising trackers
  • Session replay or heatmap tools

If that ever changes, this notice changes first, and any new category is added to the privacy choices control before the technology is enabled.

The one thing that does run for every visitor is Cloudflare’s cookieless performance monitoring, described below. It sets nothing on your device.

How analytics works here

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which are not. It is opt-in: the measurement script is not loaded, and no request reaches Google, until you turn Analytics on in the privacy choices control.

This is stronger than the usual approach, which loads the script on every page and merely tells it not to store a cookie — that still contacts Google. Here, declining means the visit is never reported.

IP anonymisation is enabled. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or the content of anything you type into a form to Google. Turning Analytics back off deletes the analytics cookies already set.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare’s cookieless real-user monitoring to understand aggregate page views and page-load performance. It does not use cookies, local storage, persistent visitor identifiers, or cross-site advertising. We use these metrics to maintain and improve site performance.

Because it stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you or follow you between sites, it is not listed in the table above and is not placed behind the privacy choices control. It measures how pages perform, not who you are.

Form submissions

When you submit a form, what you typed is sent to VexioSales, an affiliated Data Tranquil service platform we use to securely process and manage website enquiries on our behalf. VexioSales acts as our service provider — it processes submissions under our instructions and for no other purpose. This is not a sale or share of personal information.

The Privacy Notice sets out what is collected, why, and how long it is kept.

Changing your choice

Use the Privacy choices link in the footer of any page to change your decision at any time. Switching the functional identifier off deletes any vx_vid already stored, immediately. Declining the functional identifier does not limit any part of the site — every page and every form works the same either way.
